Almost Heaven STEAK Grill Off

Now’s your chance to PROVE IT by entering the 2021 “Almost Heaven Steak Grill Off” (aka SCA Sanctioned Steak Contest) at this year’s BBQ Bash!  The Steak contest is open to EVERYONE … grab some friends and form a team, get your family together, round up your buddies, or “Go Solo”. 

All YOU need to bring: ~ a grill of your choice, even your George Foreman grill - we don't care! ~ charcoal, wood, pellets, whatever ~ all your fancy grilling utensils ~ whatever special spices you think make a winning steak 

We’ll provide:

~ Two (2) – 1 1/8″ Rib Eye steaks (contestants can NOT bring / cook any other steaks other than those provided). You’ll cook both, turn in your best, and enjoy the other!

DATE: Friday, June 18th in the Roanoke Plaza area of Stonewall Resort State Park in conjunction with the 2021 Almost Heaven BBQ Bash.

3:30 PM – Cook’s Meeting & Steak Selection

7:00 PM – Judge’s Meeting

7:30 – 8:00 PM – Steak Turn-In / Judging

9:00 PM – SCA Steak Cook-Off Awards

*** KCBS & Backyard BBQ Teams … entry to the SCA contest is included in your team application form (no need to apply here).
