2023 KCBS Master Team Entry

We're excited to return to our hometown of Buckhannon, WV, where the BBQ Bash officially began in 2015.   With additional space, power and water access for teams and vendors, the Mayor and City of Buckhannon have pledged their 100% support in making the BBQ Bash a tremendous success.  This downtown location also offers convenient walking distance to several restaurants, bars, shopping, art galleries, and hotels... all within a few blocks of your cook sites providing an attractive, fun atmosphere for you and your families.  

We welcome all new and returning KCBS BBQ Master Teams, and promise to do our best to make your brief visit with us a pleasant one!  Entering our 2023 BBQ Bash is simple via the following online form and payment.  If you have questions or wish to have an application emailed to you, please contact us at   almostheavenbbqbash@gmail.com.

Turkey Smoke:  We're thrilled to once again be selected to host a Turkey Smoke contest with turn-in's on Saturday following brisket.   With its increasing popularity and creative entries, we hope you'll opt to participate in our 2023 Turkey Smoke contest.  Some of the top teams, including Wolf's Revenge, the 2022 Turkey Smoke Team of the Year, have cooked at our contest, so the competition is fierce but friendly.  Teams need to provide their own turkey portion this year, your choice, allowing more flexibility in entries, but entry to the contest is still FREE.

Cancellation:  If, for reasons beyond our control, the event is forced to cancel, full refunds will be made OR applied to the 2024 event (your choice).  If you cancel BY May 15, you will receive a full refund - After May 15, fees paid will be applied to your 2024 entry fees.
